Line Rider is cool

Line Rider is very cool. You should check out some of the videos posted on YouTube. It's a Flash thing that lets you draw ramps and slopes for a virtual sledder to ride on. I don't entirely understand how it does what it does, but it is pretty addictive. You draw (in lines) ramps and other things for a little dude to sled down. The animation is cool.

Setting up a blog

I set up a blog today on Blogger. Gotta say, it was really easy to do. Now I need to find a way for people to find my blog. Anyone have advice about how to get more visitors to my blog?

Russians don't think Sacha Baron Cohen is funny

Sacha Baron Cohen, the British comedian who plays the fictional Kazakh journalist Borat Sagdiyev, may satirize Kazakhstan and the United States more, but he has managed to cause offense in Russia, where officials have moved to effectively ban his popular new film, "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan."

Well, I think he's funny...

San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers might finally replace Candlestick Park with a new football stadium. And best of all, they are thinking about placing it in Santa Clara county.

Cool

Rumsfeld

NewsChannel 5 is reporting on the Rumsfeld situation:

The White House is hoping that replacing Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld can help refresh US policy on the unpopular war in Iraq.
President Bush has nominated former CIA Director Robert Gates.
The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee says he hopes to have confirmation hearings on Gates in time for the Senate to approve his nomination this year. But Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid says he has questions about Gates' ties to the Iran-Contra scandal from the Reagan administration.
On CBS' "The Early Show," Senator Joe Biden of Delaware predicted that the Senate will vote to confirm Gates as defense secretary. Biden calls Donald Rumsfeld's resignation a "positive step."
Many Iraqis, meanwhile, have cheered the move. Some blame Rumsfeld for policy failures that they say started the daily sectarian violence there.
